SMCB-2520 filters have a particle retention Size of 0.5 Microns and are ideal for Drinking water filtration applications. The Hydronix SMCB-2510 carbon block filters are manufactured with NSF-certified, safe, Coconut shell activated carbon to reduce unpleasant taste, odor, chlorine, and other contaminants from Drinking water. This Filter has a 2.5" outside diameter (OD) and a total length of 10". The operating temperature range is 40 to 180 Degrees F with a maximum pressure rating of 250 pounds per square inch (psi). this carbon block Filter is suitable for use in water dispensing applications where higher chlorine levels are present. My plants thank you!

I only water my plants with filtered water and they seem to really enjoy it. This filter does such a fantastic job in removing all the nasties in the water like chlorine. I usually will fill up my watering can with the filtered water, then add my plant food. The plants do so well with it. Before I was just using tap water and I wasn't getting the same response as I do now, my plants are healthier!

Fits my countertop system

This fits my countertop system, since it's rated at 0.5 microns, I should be protected from nasty things in the water like cysts, plus it makes the water taste way better.

Simple replacement for my existing system. Fits well and installed pretty quick. Water is back to being drinkable again.
