Increase the antioxidant level (negative ORP) in your water to neutralize free radicals and DNA damage. Unlike regular water which has a positive ORP which could create damaging free radicals in your body. The UDF-10BP-ALK filter increases negative ORP levels to provide you with water that acts as an antioxidant. Increase the pH of drinking water from the tap to a range of about 8.5 to 10 (alkaline) (depending on your incoming pH). There are many health benefits attributed to raising the pH level in the body and obtaining a more alkaline state that optimizes the body's health. The UDF-10BP-ALK adds beneficial Calcium and Magnesium to the water while also increasing the water's ORP/antioxidant/pH level.
